OMT (Object Modeling Techniques)

Object –Oriented techniques allows user to understand the overall structure, environment, identify components and relationship between objects of the model. These object oriented models are very useful for understanding the problems, concerns with application experts, modeling, preparing documentations and designing programs and database.

OMT methodologies use following models: The Object model describes the objects in the system and their relationships. This model describes an object, their attributes and their operations. To design any object model it provides important framework into which the dynamic and functional model can be placed. The main motive is to construct an object model is to capture those concepts that are essential for the implementation of the system. The object model describes the static structure of a system in terms of objects and relationships.The object model can be represented graphically with the help of classes. Classes are arranged in a hierarchy order to perform a specific task.The dynamic model describes the interactions among objects in the system. It also describes the control structure of a system in terms of events and states. It also describes the aspe process.
