Digital images are still pictures taken from a scene or scanned from
documents such as photographs or artwork. Digital 3D imaging can be used
in many different applications such as visual communication and
industrial automation etc. This technique of digital imaging requires
the integration of different sophisticated sensors. These sensors
encompass the photo diodes based on integrated bi cells and the laser
based position measurement sensors. The digital image is sampled and
thereafter organized as a net of dots. Then an analog signal is produced
for display. The analog signal is formed by the interpretation of bits
which are further read by the machine. With the emergence technologies
like very large scale integration various sophisticated CMOS transistor
based sensors of high end digital chip integration are now available for
digital 3D imaging which provide a high level of accuracy.
There are different electronic sensors selected to be mounted into VLSI
for example a synchronization circuit.
